About:

Ernestine, the owner, designer and maker was born and raised in Cote d'Ivoire (a warm little country in west Africa). Nestina, comes from her name Ernestine, a nickname that her friends used in high school and college. After more than 10 years in the banking industry, she moved to the USA, after marrying her high school friend Patrick. As a stay home mom With 2 boys, she started Nestina accessories in 2010.

The inspiration to create Nestina occurred when one day searching the web for flats shoes with bold and big bows shoe clips. After having a hard time finding the style and color she wanted, Ernestine realized she could just make the shoes herself. Weeks later she opened up her first Etsy shop.

Coming from a crafty house, it was an easy process to learn techniques for hand making fabric flowers, jewelry, wired headpieces and some level of beading. It is a constant learning process that will never stop. Like many, Ernestine was fascinated with the process leading up to a wedding. She dedicates herself to each bride to make sure that each customer has the most enjoyable experience shopping with her. Every accessory she makes is created in her home studio and she uses the finest and best supply she could find to make great quality couture pieces at reasonable prices. Ernestine is a fabulous wedding accessory creator.
